We took a trip to Itasca State Park on Oct 10th to check out the Mississippi Headwaters. We had the place to ourselves.

That time of year again.

The weekend of October 10th we drove over to the cabin to take out the dock. Of course it was snowing out on Friday night as we got closer to the lake. After stoking up the fireplace I made a trip down to the dock to check out the weather.

Snow on the outboard.

Up the stairs.

Nothing like hot blueberry muffins on a cold morning.

Down by the boat landing.

The driveway. Notice that the leaves are still green.

Another look at the driveway.

The backyard.

Picnic anyone?

One cold bench.

We got the boat out on Saturday and the Dock on Sunday. Of course the next week it was 65 degrees out.

Dickinson Wedding/Geocaching Trip (Oct 2-4).

We took a trip to Dickinson, ND for the wedding of Jo's cousins son Ryan. The wedding took place at Saint Mary's Church in Richardton, ND. This is the home of the Assumption Abby Monastery. This large church is an incredible sight on the wide open western ND landscape.
