Chokecherries

We had a very short visit to the lake this past weekend and had time to mow the grass and pick some chokecherries.

Some sort of ripe ones.


These are ripe.


Picking quick before the bears show up.

Need longer arms.

I love the forest roads of Clearwater County.

More ripe ones.

We picked enough to make a batch of jelly and a batch of syrup.
