Checked up a new Bar and Grill on Thursday night. The Boardwalk Bar and Grill opened up where the Cuckoo's Nest used to be. It's over in East Grand Forks, right behind Applebees near Whiteys. We were never in the Cuckoo's Nest when that was open. The Boardwalk has a very nice cozy northwoods atmosphere. Since it is a bar no one under the age of 21 is allowed. Had heard they had good food from one of the workers at Sam's Club, so we checked it out.
They have burgers, sandwiches, salads and such. Since the burgers are 1/2 pound we spilt one and had sweet potato fries.
I liked the burger, but Jo wasn't too crazy about it. The burgers have a different texture to them. The sweet potato fries were very good.
The taps were $2.50. I'm not sure if it was the normal price or a special
