Detroit Lakes and Pelican Rapids Trip

The weekend after Memorial Day we took a trip down to Detroit Lakes for their street faire. We also managed to get some geocaching done. Here is one near the Community Center.


After we hit the street fair we continued our geocaching trip towards Pelican Rapids.

There is a cache in this fake wood duck house.

There is one at the Scambler Town Hall.

There it is. Do you see this one? It was a pill bottle hanging in the tree.

This is a large one in Pelican Rapids. It was an igloo cooler.

There was another one located by the Pelican Rapids City Offices.

Where is that bugger? We didn't find this one.

The building also housed the Police Station.

The Deputy Sheriff came by with a special guest (looked like a drunk) while we were there. He took one look at us (the Deputy that is) and asked if we were geocaching. As he was leading his guest in, he said that he had not found it either. We were hoping for a hint. Maybe we will find it next time.
